The NorthlandKindergarten Association (NKA) is seeking an experienced leader to join ourProfessional Practice Managers’ team. The team’s collective role is to enhance capability across NKA, ensuring excellence in teaching and learning, with a strong focus on improving learning outcomes for tamariki. You will work alongside two other motivated professional practice managers in supporting our25 kindergartens across Te Tai Tokerau. The role requires strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in all areas of early childhood education. Your expertise will be to collaborate with other leaders and work directly with teaching teams to support high quality learning. You will play a pivotal role in delivering reliable, timely, and up to date professional support to our kindergartens and teams and ensuring all MOE licensing requirements are constantly met.

Northland Kindergarten Association are seeking a passionate, community focussed kaiako to join the teaching team at Hillcrest Kindergarten, Kaikohe. This 20-hour per week position, will have varying daily hours, beginning March 2025. 

Hillcrest have a large natural environment, inspired by the kaupapa of Enviroschools and sustainable practices. Hillcrest's teaching philosophy includes respectful relationships with tamariki, whānau and the wider community, embracing whanaungatanga, kotāhitanga and manaakitanga. Kaiako acknowledge tamariki as unique individuals that are capable, competent and active participants in their own play-based learning, while ensuring their mana and mauri is upheld. Ruawai Kindergarten - K1 (0.5) Teacher

Northland Kindergarten Association (NKA) is seeking a teacher to join the team at Ruawai Kindergarten, Kaipara. This 20-hour-per-week position will have varying daily hours and will commence as soon as possible.  

The kindergarten is situated on the outskirts of Ruawai township and is part of an education hub sitting alongside the local primary and secondary schools. The children who attend this kindergarten come from the wider Kaipara community.
