Kindergarten Programme:
Our programme is planned to meet the interests, strength and needs of the children’s intellectual, emotional, social and physical development. They have the opportunity to learn and play with and alongside other children under the skilled guidance of trained and registered teachers.
We plan to Te Whāriki - The National Early Childhood Curriculum which is based around the principles:
Kotahitanga—Holistic Development,
Whakamana—Empowerment,
Nga Hononga—Relationships and
Whanau Tangata—Family and Community.
These encompass the five strands
Mana Atua - Well Being,
Mana Whenua - Belonging,
Mana Tangata - Contribution,
Mana Reo - Communication and
Mana Aoturoa - Exploration.
