Onerahi Kindergarten is situated in the Whangarei Harbour beachside community of Onerahi. We have a warm and welcoming atmosphere, a large, safe and inspiring natural environment and are well resourced. We provide a stimulating, challenging programme based on children’s strengths and interests, and help prepare them for lifelong learning. We are committed to environmental sustainability through our vegetable garden, worm farm, composting and recycling programmes.

We are a sessional Kindergarten with a roll of 40 children in the morning and 30 children in the afternoon. We have 4 registered teachers with a ratio of 1:10. 20 Free ECE Hours are available for 3- 4yr olds. We work closely with the local primary schools to help children transition to school.

PMP (Perceptual Motor Programme)

Morning session: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 12.45pm

Afternoon session: Mon, Tues & Thurs, 1.30pm - 3.30pm
